After loosing Ni-Ni to terminal cancer we
launched Ni-Ni's Mutt Strut to bring awareness to k-9 cancer while continuing to aid senior animals with special needs in
honor of our beloved Rocky. Since its establishment we have grown, we have evolved, we have shared! Ni-Ni's Mutt Strut helps
preserve the human/animal bond by fostering community togetherness while bringing awareness to k-9 cancer. Ni-Ni's Mutt Strut
helps protect senior warriors who deserve a happy ending. All proceeds raised goes directly to diagnose, treat, and manage

Ni-Ni's 5-k Mutt Strut '09
One
dear soul who we campaigned for during Ni-Ni's Mutt Strut's establishment was Kody. Kody touched our hearts in
a profound way because of all he did for us before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Kody reminded us to be
humble, he reminded us to be patient, and to be understanding of the needs of senior animals.
Kody linked our world with a remarkable group of people from Animal Protective Foundation & Tundra Spirits Siberian Husky Rescue dedicated folks who gave Kody the dignity & respect he deserved. While
we all mourn the loss of Kody we do understand that he did not leave is alone & empty. He left us with
knowledge & compassion to evolve with the next chapter of our journey. The Kody Project will benchmark
a new beginning for SAMA, APF & Tundra Spirits to ban together to continue to help abandon & neglected seniors- blessed creatures like Kody. During this year's event we paid tribute
to our beloved friend Kody after releasing two dozen message balloons into the heavens. A somber
moment, but a reminder of our ever so important mission.

cancer!
