UPDATE OCTOBER
2010~ Today Sandra was welcomed to retire with someone who has dedicated his life to
helping “ hard knock pooches with hard knock behaviors” Sandra was welcomed to retire in a place where no dog
is turned away for behavioral issues~ This is truly Sandra last chance for a
dignified retirement as
she was disregarded and surrendered to an over populated shelter after giving her former “guardians” 12 years
of service. Please help us sponsor Sandra’s journey so she can truly retire with
love, dignity, and grace. Because Every Dog Deserves a Happy Ending~

Sandra
was surrendered to an over populated shelter after providing 12 years of service to her former guardians. Cowardly,
they brought Sandra to the shelter incognito and
provided a fabricated story which later revealed it to be lies through a detailed email
send to me directly. Through facebook these people learned Sandra was placed at Hooch's Haven for Homeless Hounds - they sent me a detailed
email - confessing that Sandra was their dog and that they lied to the shelter because they did not have the courage
to surrender her.
And so their sneaky cowardly act placed several other animals in danger.
They
provided literally no information about Sandra to help make her adoption and/or placement a success. We have reached
out to them a number of times to no avail they disconnected any contact. I articulated in my many attempts to reach them that
Sandra was in jeopardy and in harm’s way, still they refused to help us help her.
And so it was upon Sandra arrival at Hooch’s
Haven we had to learn on our own that she has no experience around other animals. Her lack of socialization skills has forced us to render
a decision to find placement elsewhere for Sandra as we need to keep all animals entrusted to us safe. Sadly, Sandra
has been bounced about, disregarded, and neglected throughout her life, unloved, unwanted, and always made to feel like a
burden.
PLEASE HELP US HELP HER~ SHE NEEDS US
